I would like to say that I really love my new Fire Shrimp, but.... I did my usual acclimation process and put it in my main tank late in the evening. I have a 250 gallon reef tank with a lot of live coral and anemones. After I slowly put the shrimp in my tank, I watched it walk around the corals for a half hour or so. The next morning when the lights came on I started looking for the shrimp and have never seen it since I put it in the tank; that's coming up on two weeks now. I have a lot of rock work so there are tons of hiding places. I once put a Pistol shrimp in my tank and didn't see it for at least 3 months. Then, one day it just showed up. I'm hoping that's the case with the Fire shrimp. But, with its striking red body and white legs, I'm starting to lose hope. I'm bummed.
