The AvidAqua InSight is a full-color touchscreen display designed to give Apex users a clear, always-visible view of their aquarium data without needing to pull out a phone or tablet. Clean, minimalist, and button-free, InSight delivers a modern alternative to traditional controller displays while fitting seamlessly into today’s aquarium setups.
Rather than duplicating what Apex Fusion already does, InSight enhances it. Any parameter visible in your Apex Fusion dashboard can be displayed on the InSight screen, from temperature and pH to calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium when paired with a Trident tester. It gives reef keepers a simple way to keep critical information in view at all times, especially in high-traffic areas of the home.
InSight connects wirelessly using Apex Local. As long as the InSight and your Apex are on the same WiFi network, they communicate without a physical cable between them. This opens up flexible placement options well beyond the controller cabinet, making InSight useful for tanks with remote sumps or filtration rooms.
Setup and customization are handled through the MyAquarium app, where users choose which widgets appear on the home screen and tailor the display to show what matters most.
