I purchased this tang on my first trip to NewWave after moving to the city. I had a 8 year established mix reef and decided to upgrade tanks with the move. My old tank had 3 other mature tangs in it and I had been wanting a sailfin for years. However, I was afraid to add another tang to the old tank as the established tangs were aggressive to new additions so this was my one chance. The staff in the store were outstanding and even took me to the back to look at some of their new fish. They had two Desjardini tangs and I picked “Rene” as she was slightly bigger and very active. Outstanding color, was eating, actively swimming, and holding her own on day two. About a week later you would think she had been in my tank for years, no signs of stress. I appreciate this stores quarantine, care and forwardness with the health and status of their animals.
