The Coral Banded Shrimp (Stenopus hispicus) is a hardy, striking addition to established aquariums. Recognizable by its bold red and white striping and prominent claws, this species earns the nickname "Boxing Shrimp" from its aggressive feeding behavior.
House singly or as mated pairs only, as they're territorial toward other shrimp and crustaceans. Provide abundant live rock for shelter and feed a carnivorous diet of chopped meaty foods.
