I have never had a bad experience with any fish from New Wave except for these diamond gobys. I have bought 2 and both times they had died with 12-24 hours of bringing them home. Very disappointed to spend the money and have them pass in such a short period.

Been a couple of weeks now and he's doing great
Actively sifting sand and seems to be eating frozen mysis shrimp. I've heard they can be hard to keep long term so I'm hoping for the best. Love this store and all the variety they have to offer.

The sales person and I both thought we picked out a healthy fish. I acclimated it for 45 minutes dripping water from my aquarium into a bucket with the fish.
After introducing it to my aquarium it seemed fine sifting sand as they do.
An hour later it was gone. Never saw it again.
I don't know what I did wrong. I've been reefing for 25 years and I know that things like this happen
