This species when wild caught may not eat when first introduced to a new aquarium, but has a great appetite after acclimation. Our captive bred specimens are even hardier, better suited to aquarium life, and are raised on small pellets and other inexpensive aquarium foods; making them an excellent choice for beginner aquarists. They’ve also been known to enjoy eating pest Aiptasia anemones in aquariums, making them a valuable worker fish.

This medium-sized species reaches a max size of less than 8” in aquariums.
